We're not Barney's."Well, the market -- call it cataclysmic or not -- appears to have forced the fashion fortress to mark down women's ready-to-wear, accessories, and shoes by up to 40%. And it's not even November!
Men's wear sales are said to be faring better than women's wear right now, but we suspect that won't keep the other high-end shoe from dropping shortly. "These aren't normal times," a Bergdorf clerk told us today. "There are a lot of factors that we didn't have to consider last year or the year before that." We'll keep you posted.
