Unis has answered the prayers of some readers who expressed frustration over the modest markdowns at its sale -- which is still going down this week.

"We're responding by giving you what you want," a store rep wrote in our comments section yesterday. "Our Spring 09 merchandise is now 50% off. The new(ish) short and long sleeve tees we just put in the shop are now $30 and $50 respectively ... And as for the sample sale stuff, there is a HUGE variety of stuff to pick from, most of which has and will continue to be priced below $100."
