Sole Power

Nothing so embodies the current trend in classic American workwear like a hearty pair of Red Wing boots. That’s the opinion of Valet magazine, and one shared by many of the industry’s top tastemakers. J. Crew -- perhaps the best-positioned mid-tier brand right now -- went so far as the carry the boots in-store and online this season. ... Now, if we could only find a way to go back to 1905 when Red Wing's ran for $1.75.
