A few blocks from the Flatiron building, we dropped by the showroom-esque Loden Dager sample sale going down today and tomorrow. Smallish jackets run $150 for Spring '08, and $250-280 for Fall '08. The coats will fit anyone and run $200 for Spring, and $300 for Fall. Shirts, which should fit most, are $70 for Spring, and $100-110 for Fall. Pants -- with a few jeans among them -- are $80 for Spring, and $125-140 for Fall. Cable knits are $250 -

Went after work today, nearly all Spring wear is gone, leaving only more expensive Fall wear. While nice, felt most was just priced too high to splurge there, not sure what the stuff retails for, but when I asked if they'd be willing to bring down prices at all, they said it would be pricing below their retail...even so, in this economy, how do they not want to get rid of the stuff if they have potential buyers?
