For the record, these sales get mixed reviews. Our friend and EatingBrooklyn.com blogger, Sam Jacobs, waits all year for these events. But, remarked one reader who left the last such sale empty-handed, "Very limited sizes, clothing is everywhere, tight space."

ReplyDeleteIn regards to the reader comments about the limited sizing and tight space - it is true. This is not a warehouse sale - it is a true showroom sample sale. Most jackets are 40 R, pants are 34/34, shirts & sweaters are Medium. However, they also had a selection of accessories, and a few items in other sizes.
If you fall into this sizing category and you like Gant, then it's definitely well worth it.
Any way you guys can update your map?
ReplyDeleteYea, I went last year but was a little to big to fit into anything. Now 30 lbs later I can't wait for it. From what i recall there were a lot of bags and sweatshirts.

There are also a couple Jeffrey for Gant items floating around for the eagle eyed shopper...
probably half of the stock is far too J.Crew/Banana/Rugby for my tastes (who needs a giant GANT logo on the front of their sweatshirt?) but the other half is very nice and classic and completely wearable...
Its a little cramped in there but the staff is super helpful...be careful with the pants are there seem to be 3 different kinds of size 34 ...there's a little bathroom to try on though...
it goes til Friday and they'll be restocking some stuff...
