how is this sale historically
ReplyDeleteAs you can see by checking out the link we provided in the post, lots of guys left empty-handed last year. perhaps because of unrealistic expectations. expects TONS of Opening Ceremony, and a smattering of other labels.
ReplyDeleteOver-hyped in my opinion. I'll stop by during the afternoon if I have time, but nothing to clear my schedule for.
ReplyDeletei went to this once...it was in a dark basement with a bunch of teenagers on mercer street or something.
ReplyDeleteit was CRAP...all old stuff i would never think of buying. perhaps with their newish direction, there might be some gems here...but i doubt it.
Better than last year (same venue as where pop-flea is held) and definitely more room. But the stuff is the same as always. If you're a fan of Opening Ceremony, this is for you (OC jackets for $120 to $200) Vest ($100)
ReplyDeleteSizes??
ReplyDeleteS to XL for vest/jackets in a couple of styles. But that was at 12:00 when I left.
ReplyDeleteAmazing. Best sample sale in NYC. Bought a Patrik Ervell Collegiate Cashmere jacket for 60 bucks. TONS of Acne (bought two shirts for 50 bucks each, cords for $75). Band of Outsiders short sleeve shirt for 40 bucks and finally, a always desired Mr. Hollywood t-shirt for 50 bucks.
ReplyDeletethis sale is never worth the hassle. if you're looking for quantity for an almost reasonable price then you might want to go - but do not go for quality.
ReplyDeletea lot of stuff! i thought it was a good sale. you had a ton of different brands. scored myself an acne tie for $20. OC wool pants for 65 cant go wrong here.
ReplyDeleteLots of great stuff at great prices. What more could we ask for?
