The Mulberry sale on 18th St is a go! Any semblance of a line disappeared by 10:30, i.e., a half-hour into the sale. Mulberry wallets are $100(!), and wash cases are $200 -- Get your father or father-in-law one of these, and he'll think you've still got that fancy job at the bank. But, there's no telling how long any of this stuff will last, including the first-rate bags below, so act fast!
Mulberry Sale - Metropolitan Pavilion - 123 W 18th St between 6th & 7th - 5th fl - Thurs & Fri 10am-7pm daily - Map
Thursday and Friday only, the Metropolitan Pavilion is hosting a Mulberry sale featuring the British label's high-end leather messengers, weekender bags, and wallets at up to 75% off. Expect a serious turnout.
Here it is, fellas! Our favorite sale of the season: The Steven Alan sample sale, and it's kicking off Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. Line up early if you're after a particular shirt print, a down parka, or something from Rag & Bone and Simon Miller. Otherwise, through Sunday, find mountains of oxford shirts, pants, outerwear, suits, knits, and shoes.
What’s a jacket or bag from Brooklyn Industries worth? At least $25, no doubt. Luckily, that’ll be the average purchase price during the chain's 75%-off sale Friday through Sunday. [Racked]
Some guys hear the word 'sale' and picture brutish bargain hunters fighting over second-rate scraps under bad fluorescent lighting. In reality, plenty of sale settings rival the best retail experiences, as in the case of this week's Fred Perry sale. Soft lighting, records spinning, charming digs, friendly staff. Now, the discounts aren't spectacular, sizes run small, and 27th between 10th & 11th isn't an ideal locale, but the offerings are ample and varied... for sweaters, light jackets, pullovers, and kicks, anyway.

Fred Perry Sale - 547 W 27th St between 10th & 11th - 3rd fl - 212-736-3030 – Tues-Fri 10am-7pm, Sat-Sun 12pm-6pm - Map
For whatever reason, we found no lines at the Dolce & Gabanna sale going on through Friday. But, by the looks of things, what's worth getting is going to get got pretty quickly. There are some nice deals to be had... if you can figure out this ridiculous colored dot system -
The best deals are these excellently constructed, extremely sharp, buttery soft jackets going for a mere $300 -

Through Sunday, British label Mulberry is taking over 50% off its top-top-top-of-the-line bags and briefcases. Save for a lucky flee-market find, you're not going to find bags of this quality at these prices anywhere. You even might end up passing one of these puppies down to your kids.

For the next two weeks or so,
A week is all you have left at Oliver Spencer -- perhaps the smartest menswear boutique in the West Village -- to get 50% off the British label’s sleek spring/summer ’08 collection, along with the likes of Rag & Bone, YMC, Engineered Garments, Margaret Howell, and Rogues Gallery. These guys keep their shelves stocked with great stuff, not to mention the fact that they're right across the street from The Spotted Pig.
