In late August,
expect the first menswear collection from OutKast’s flamboyant tastemaker André 3000.
Inspired by collegiate football players of the '30s, the line’s 70-odd pieces include boiled-wool sweaters, double-vent corduroy blazers, high-waisted trousers and striped dress shirts. Barneys, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s plan to retail the sweaters for $75 and the coats for $2,000.
Early reviews herald the line as smart and well constructed. André's the man, but we’ll believe it when we see it.
