Zara is currently hosting its semi-annual sale featuring up to 50% off most in-store stock. Trendy and not particularly well made, this Spanish purveyor of "fast fashion" wouldn't be our first, second, or even third choice for, well, anything. That said, the jackets, shirts, and pants are relatively versatile -- from the office to the party -- and the cuts, while Euro-trashy, ain't always half-bad.

how long is this going on?
ReplyDeleteAt least a week...
ReplyDeleteI always liked their ties. Thick enough for a windsor knot and normally the 3 inch variety. Other than that, I concur...mostly underwhelming products.
ReplyDeletei guess i'll play a bit of a devil's advocate for them, but i'd say Zara's a pretty gamely player at that price point. there pants fit pretty well IF you're on the slender side. their fabrication is easily on a par with Gap, Forever 21, and much better than H&M. while their design language couldn't realistically be called classic, you can get far more mileage out of their stuff in terms of aesthetic and quality than many of the competitors at that price point. i'd much sooner send a friend short on cash there than Express, Forever, H&M, or even Club Monaco in some cases.
