Once again proving that this is one of the best sales on the calendar. Made out with bags full of $95 blazers, $45 cashmere cardigans, $20 scarves amongst others.
ReplyDeleteThe stuff was going QUICKLY and there was a line out the door and into the hallway when I left just about 15 minutes ago. If you're a size 50 the doors to Gantland are completely and utterly open.
Lots of boring preppy stuff but many fashion forward items sprinkled in as well (I think I got the one and only cropped shawl collared tuxedo jacket in there). Well WELL worth it to get your wardrobe winterized.

i just got back. its good...its worth going to. the pros: tons of sizes but mostly skewed towards medium and large. lots of stuff...loads of sweaters, accessories, shirts. the cons: not the gant stuff that youd find at barneys coop. they do have a bunch of rugger line shirts but nothing mindblowing. not a ton of shirting in size small.

staff is super friendly...particularly this cute blond chick.
Just got back as well. Good selection of pants in 34/34, but not so much in anything smaller. Good selection of button-downs in M and L, but I never have any luck finding the right stuff there. Am I the only one who finds the normal Gant shirt's collar too high?
ReplyDeleteI ended up with two size-M sweaters. As usual, the knits are your best bet.
Went on my lunchbreak, and line wasn't too bad. Picked up a bunch of Gant's Rugger line button downs-$29. Can't beat that. Smalls were lacking, but tons of M and L.
