Sunday through next Thursday, 10/24-10/29, the Soiffer Haskin gallery is hosting a sample sale for sister brands Hickey Freeman and Bobby Jones featuring what one rep promised will be "a huge selection of suits, sport coats, top coats, trousers, dress shirts, and ties," along with "knit and woven shirts, sweaters, trousers, and outerwear." Suits start at $550; sport coats at $300 to $700; dress trousers for $140; dress shirts for $70; and sweaters for $70. ReplyDeleteanother big guy sale. quite a few of the sample sales i've attended in the last few weeks have an incredibly limited selection of medium items, virtually no smalls in sight. It you are a 3xx or jacket 44 and up, with an emphasis on 50 or above you are in luck right now. i tried on a few hickey shirts yesterday. guy says they are full body, a small fit me like a burka. not attractive.
ReplyDeletethis sale is always great for ties and suits. The shirts are very wide cut so I don't wear them. But 3 suits for less than the price of one is too hard to pass up. I just wish the overcoats were marked down as well.
