Canaries In The Coalmine

The Gadabout blows the whistle on "the L.A. style crisis," i.e., the city's tacky and puerile style aesthetic. [Gadabout]

The extremely funny
exposé is also a cautionary tale for New Yorkers who are themselves dressing down more these days, the point being that there's a clear distinction to be drawn between smart casual and Tommy Lee. Lucky for us, New York men are descending from a more conservative point of reference, so we have yet to reach L.A.'s bankruptcy of reason and tact.
