Here’s to Jamie Fox, Fonzworth Bentley, and the good people at MTV for injecting matters of traditional conduct and style into the popular discourse with their new reality series, “From G’s to Gents,” which endeavors to transform 14 self-proclaimed “gangstas” into refined gentlemen.
The show, which debuted last night, was bound to be a circus -- but, it appears, a circus with a message on the merits of manners, respect for others, respect for oneself, and respect for one’s appearance.
