Rooney's White Bucks

If Andy wasn't planning on keeping this gear, we know some American heritage diehards who'd gladly take a few pieces.... especially those white bucks! "They were trendy when I was in college," Rooney says of the shoes. "I don't wear them ... I just have them."

Also of note, that tie Andy calls ugly -- before foreshadowing its comeback -- bears a striking resemblance to a textile pattern used by Engineered Garments this season.

Fashion, it goes without saying, is rarely at a lack for irony.

    That Quilted Giraffe jacket would put some kid sooo far ahead of American Apparel clones in terms of eighties retro. And an Eisenhower jacket! Giltgroupe had one on sale from Thom Browne for only about $1300.
