  4. The smallest suit size was 38R. There were a lot of small button downs but a Liz Claiborne Small is like a Steven Alan medium, so despite the very nice pricing (3 for $50), I couldn't rationalize the purchase. A few jackets as well (wax cotton maybe?) for cheap, and some bags for 3 bucks. :-) too bad they were kinda hideous.

  5. Not true about sizing, the S is like a Steven Alan small, you have to look at the diff fits, Classic Fit, etc.
Some fit more slimmer than any Liz shirt :)

  6. Not impressed. The line was pretty cheap looking. Lots of shirts in loud patterns. The jacket that was mentioned is not waxed cotton - just cotton. I tried on a small and it was huge. Pants, blazers, shirts, outerwear, jeans all seemed to be low quality stuff. I expected more since we have been hearing about this collab for a while. Lots of stock and sizes but not exciting.

  7. Agree with not impressed. John's store (and signature line) is quite fine. Eyeballing this line, it was Bartlett does Gentleman's Warehouse. I was not his customer. One or two nice pieces, but left empty-handed. I was not moved. Expecting great things from Jil Sander/Uniqlo.

  8. I think at this price point its really hard to complain about these clothes. Not all the materials are top shelf, but if you look around you can find a lot of stuff that is well-made, nicely cut and tasteful looking. I highly recommend everyone stop by and pick up some stuff to round out their work wardrobe.

  9. Unless you're really in desperate need of a suit ($50 blazer, $25 pants) I would avoid this sale. Pants had a strange silhouette, shirts felt like they were made of tissue paper, and the jackets were enormous even in a size small. Everything from jeans to knits was unremarkable. Not to be a jerk but there's a reason they sell this stuff at Macy's.
