Just blocks apart, the sales of the day -- and perhaps the week -- Paul Stuart and J. Crew guarantee easy access and plenty of reasonably-priced basics. The Crew sale is nearly identical to the one hosted by Clothingline.com in January. At Paul Stuart, expect to find a wide selection of classic men's wear priced at up to 80% off retail, along with a wide selection of mostly loafers for $250 a pair.

Any idea if J.Crew has anything other than Mediums this time around...Larges? Ties or shoes there too?
ReplyDeleteHow were the lines outside Crew?
ReplyDeleteLike I said, Sam, "Easy access" -- though the girls always manage to cause a bit of a frenzy inside.
ReplyDeleteKyle, Mediums do make up at least 80% of the stock.
Word. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHuge selection at Paul Stuart. Everything is at LEAST 70% off.
ReplyDeleteThe Blazers are the best deals at 80% off and there are LOTS of them in all sizes
You have to dig for the Phineas stuff but if you find some it's well worth it.
Paul Stuart should be commended for starting off with those kinds of rebates on the FIRST DAY.
A breeze to get in and out of too.
Cool, thanks!
ReplyDeleteOk so J Crew had no lines and an OK selection for guys. I would like to have seen prices come down a bit more. Paul S was a dissapointment. The suits were horrible and gaudy and again it was still on the expensive side.
ReplyDeletewhat kind of shoes are left at Paul Stuart?
ReplyDeleteGuys don't bother going to this sale. Not much of a selection at all. But, what they do have is medium and 32w pants. Not even close to the selection as earlier this year
