The Cut takes us inside the recently opened L.E.S. boutique Teddy Boy to find some dapper 50s looks at very reasonable price points. We're talking gray cotton button-downs for $80 (pictured), vintage work boots for $80, and satin suit jackets for $540. What is a Teddy Boy, exactly? It references a British subculture during with 50s, typified by tough young lads wearing a modified style of Edwardian dress.

Wow, I like some of it. Reminds me of Barking Irons. Any idea of the other price points for other items like the jackets or suiting?
ReplyDeleteOK - stupid question: I dig those boots, but if they are vintage they are used, no? Or are they new and just made to look worn in? Might go check them out, and don't mind vintage in most cases but not shoes... thanks.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Anon, they most likely were worn by another human being at one point in history.
