  2. Hmmm, we saw a few pieces scattered around at about 2pm. They also appeared to be holding back some stock for later in the sale, but what that includes we don't know.

  5. Unless I'm missing something, these prices seem to be higher than the sale last week. I got a pair of pants there for $99. And the cream/navy colors in the bottom picture were $99 as well, it looks like they're $140 at this sale...am I missing something?

  6. Well, Matt, You either scored or got merch from a previous season... which doesn't really matter anyway.

  7. I dunno, there was a lot of Fall 08 gear at last week's sale, it wasnt just a few select pieces. Just sayin...

  9. Sneaked into the sale :) hehe. Remember to ring the doorbell so they can bring you up!!! The sale was great!!! Great atmosphere and they were serving wine/cheese. YUM!! THe merchandise were pretty similar from the clothingline sale but a bit more expensive :( In any case, the clothes looked more expensive here... they just looked cheap on the other place....... (...atmosphere is important right??!!!). Ended up with a great pair of jeans!!!

    Thanks for the tip CB!!!

  10. Crowd was full of androgynous-looking age 30+ hipsters (so as to differentiate from the teen hipsters) who I think did not have day jobs, since I went at 7 and nobody was remotely in work clothes. Some of the guys seemed more rabid about the sale than the females who were shopping. Although they could have just been gay.

Not sure what the appeal was of a lot of the clothing. Jeans were too tight and I'm far from a big guy. Knits made me look like I'm 50. Disappointing.

  11. went tuesday night, during pre-sample sale, good atmosphere and selection; they had stock in back so if you dont see your size not on the racks, overall prices HIGHER than clothingline sale from last week ($40 for a t-shirt is still ridiculous for a sample sale) esp after end of week discounts...but i did score a light grey cashmere scarf for $45 ...flirt with a salesperson and they'll bring one out for you! definitely best deal of the sale. by the way, clientele and salespeople were VERY attractive, both male and female. so if u don't buy a coat, at least leave with a number!
