While it's certainly not the first to do so, the Moment's High/Low column has endorsed J.Crew's Timex Watch for $150. We concur.And for more sensible gift ideas, do refer to The Moment's What Gives column through December.

While I think its a nice classic watch in the same way that Casio databank watches are nice i.e. you got picked on as a little kid for wearing them into your early teens...$150? Weren't these like $10.50 at Target back in the day? Wait, aren't the unsold ones still at Target these days?
