i went to the j. crew sample sale around 3pm today (the line had shrunk to about a 20 minute wait then) and i have to say i was not too impressed at all. there were a couple racks of pants/jeans, tons and tons of shirts and sweaters (lots of cashmere), racks of shorts, tons of ties/hats, and lots of shirts/polos. almost everything was a medium, with some larges/xl. i only found a couple size smalls hidden in the corner behind the line to the left which also had special pieces for sale (leather jackets, some cardigans/sweaters. overall, i was not that impressed with the selection or the sizes and walked away with nothing but i'm sure many others could find something to their liking there.
