Dropped by Uniqlo this afternoon to check out +J Spring/Summer. Little line to get into the collection's private space within the store, but nothing insane. What's insane is the quality of these clothes. Just look at the stitching on the below cotton jacket ($100), and around the buttonholes in particular. The real gem, however, is +J's cotton Mountain Parka in two colorways ($130) -- Unfortunately a clerk asked us to stop taking pics before we could capture the parka in all its glory. Seriously, though, go get yourself some +J this weekend. Just watch it with the synthetics -- The cotton gear looks much better and lasts longer, for sure.
Price list:
• Outerwear: $50 - $150
• Shirts: $40
• Pants: $40-60
• "Cut and sewn": $10-$50
• Knitwear: $30-$130
The GQ Eye -- which favors the +J shirts -- also notes that Uniqlo is running a "big promotion" on ribbed cotton dress socks through the weekend: Six for $10. Nice.

ReplyDeleteHuge Fan of +J. Can't tell you how many times people compliment me on my clothes and ask me where they are from. Is it wrong if I just say, "Jil Sander," w/o mentioning Uniqlo.
